Lisa Farmer is the Director of Bourbon County Adult Education Center.  Lisa has worked in the field of Adult Education for over 15 years.  As such, Lisa manages state and federal funding and oversees programs for Basic Literacy, GED Preparation, English as a Second Language, and Workplace Essential Skills. 

Lisa is a member of the Commission on Adult Basic Education (COABE) and the Kentucky Association for Adults and Continuing Education (KAACE).
She is native Kentuckian, born in Louisville and growing up in Burkesville, Kentucky.  She graduated Cumberland County High School and attended Western Kentucky University, attaining a Bachelor of Science in Agri-Business.  Lisa and her husband, Charlie, are the owners of Antioch Daylily Garden, a Kentucky Proud business, located between Paris and Lexington. Lisa has been a resident of Bourbon County for 23 years. Lisa and Charlie have two sons, Jonathon and Brandon, one daughter, Morgan, and one daughter-in-law, Mara.
